After spending a few days with Eric and his fellow bikers in Taliptip, they decided to organise a ride with me to Mt Arayat National Park which is also their first ride with their bicycles there. All together there are 5 of us ( Eric,Eddie,Bodjie,Louis and me ) made the tour. The tour on Thursday 30/06 started very early in the morning of 4am and rode with our lights on in the dark for an hours until we arrived at the junction to join main road. The sky began to brighten as we rode alongside with heavy traffic of trucks. The terrain is pretty flat as make several stops to rest and bought some camp foods in Arayat public market before we continued to rode into the national park, there is a park entrance fee of 100php per head and we were lead to a campsite where we pitched our tents. There are a few swimming pools around where the water source is flowing from a waterfall, very different from the normal pool where water is being treated. The water is much more refreshing and cooling. We prepared a simple dinner, with me in charged of cooking the rice for 5 and Bodjie took care of flying the sauces with fresh tomatoes and salted eggs. The next day we took our time and started to roll at 7 and arrived back in Taliptip by 2pm. A truly enjoyable trip not only on me but also for the rest.
