Eric and Bodjie have a plumbing project to repair in Eric's brother apartment in Manila,so they invited me to join them riding there,some 27km from Taliptip.We started around 8 in the morning and arrived in Manila by 10, we went out for lunch and then rode to China town to source for part. Riding in Manila is truly a new experience for me in this chaotic overpopulated Metro Manila of 13 million people,definitely not for the faint hearted newbies here,nobody will give way,everyone is trying to beat one another with speed and squeeze thru with whatever space they could,you have to be good in every sense that include your bike ability to turn fast and brake to instant halt. You are competing with all traffic jeepneys,tricycles,buses,pedestrian etc..When Eric and Bodjie completed their repair work,we left the city at a time of peak hour at 4pm and safely arrived unscratched in Taliptip at 6. The feeling is like exhausted soldiers returning home after having won their battle.
