Today's ride met with morning shower rain then followed by thick fog, visibility was down to 50m,strong wind was blowing from all directions that was really cold forcing me to put on my windbreaker jacket and a plastic rain fly.The 10km climb under nerve cracking condition was finally ended at the peak of 1840m.There is a grocery store that served hot instant noodles and coffee.Feeling much better now to tackle the descent, but encountered a rear tire flat again.Something is really wrong with my rim tape that i need to solve, hopefully can change to a new tape if i do see a bike shop.As i was stopping at the view point,a local biker Peewee came to chat with me,invited me to lunch with his family in a restaurant opposite, and then he was so energised that he setup his bike and rode down with me 4km to Banaue and help me to sort out my accommodation, not forgetting he help me to fix my puncture on the way down.Thank you so much Peewee for your great hospitality.
