I started the ride after breakfast prepared by Rena and Eric accompanied me to visit one bike shop with secondhand container bikes from Japan,many of the locals buying cheap refurbished bikes from here according to Eric.I say goodbye to Eric,it is my honour to meet such nice people and hope one day he will visit Malaysia to be my guest. Arrived in Malolos before joining back to the main MacArthur Highway.The weather was getting very hot and it went up to a max of 42C,forcing me to made several stops by the roadside where the kids are selling coconut iced drinks and 7-11 outlets in Calumpit. San Fernando is the next big town in Pampanga Province,but is still too early to end the day although the sun is getting unbearable,I wanted to continue to Angeles City which is another 25km.Finally i arrived in Angeles City about 2pm,feeling really exhausted by the scorching heat and that is all flat luckily.Finding accommodation here is a bit of hustle,the hotels rate are in the range of 1700-3000 php which will surely caused a hole in my pocket .The budget one is hardly can be seen from the saddle.After searching high and low for nearly 2 hr,eventually found this Rad Lodge for travelers. Basically the hotel here charged separately with fan or aircond/tv room and the number of hours in 3 categories 3 hr/12hr/24. I paid 450 php for a fan room of 24 hr.
